The Phone Call

The Phone Call : 24th April, 2009
(Enquiry about Earth Grandeur. I hate you, Bhai. You made my evening eventful.)

You called and I heard your voice.

You talked to me, left no choice.

48 hours, seemed like a year

It’s hard, you know, you’re not near.

I know you think it’s okay.

But it’s more than what I say.

The sound of your voice over the phone

In that tone, so well known!

Made me heave, made me sigh.

Made me choke, made me cry.

Made me lose my mind.

Made me tongue-tied.

Woody Allen described the state of lovebirds perfectly, thus!

"To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer. To suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy then is to suffer. But suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness. I hope you're getting this down."

@ Rimz: thanks! :D
@ Rochishnu: Firstly, This is your blog: As You Like It. How come you can't access it! You need to be signed in to your blogger a/c to be able to publish a comment with this name. Secondly, yeah, I get it. I've been in love for seven years. I'm more experienced than you. Love, life, and God, are the three things in the world that remain mysteriously complicated, no matter how old you get, or how experienced you think you are. It's the same. You're right.

What can make the world a better place?
